I graduated in 1994 from Western Washington University with a BA in graphic design and illustration. During my last year at Western, I had a portfolio review with the owner of ArtSource, now FILTER and was invited to stop by their office in Bellevue when I came to Seattle. A little over a year later, I was working as a production artist doing PhotoShop work for CD ROMs.
About eight months after that I landed my first design contract onsite at Microsoft working for a little online content provider called the Microsoft Network (MSN).
Ten years later, I am still working for FILTER, and have enjoyed a wonderful decade at some of the biggest online and high-tech companies in the Northwest, including Amazon.com, RealNetworks, Qwest and of course, Microsoft.
I am currently working for the Educational Products Group at Microsoft. |
